Warren James Cooper, 70, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was born in Sheboygan on January 22, 1952, to Earl and Olive Eigenberger Cooper.
Warren graduated from Sheboygan South High School. He was employed at the Kohler Company in the enamel shop until his retirement. Warren was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church and the Modeling Club of Milwaukee.
Warren enjoyed building models, reading history books and anything to do with World War II. Playing Royal Rummy on Saturday night and playing pool was a sure favorite. He enjoyed scuba diving at the Sheboygan Quarry and Nascar. He loved listening to music and watching movies, especially James Bond.
Survivors include his three children, Sandra (John) Estep, of Lena, Christopher (Jennifer Erdmann) Cooper, of Sheboygan, and Sarah (Matthew) Shallue, of Cascade; grandchildren, Devon Cooper, of Marinette, Olivia Estep, Tyler Shallue and Meghan Shallue; a brother, Father David E. Cooper, of Franklin. Many other relatives and friends further survive him. He was proceeded in death by his grandson, Thomas Shallue, ex-wife, Diane Nowak, his parents, and his sister, Diane Cooper.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 4:00 p.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Father David E. Cooper officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Friday afternoon from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Mass at 4:00 p.m. A burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 10:30 a.m.
The family would like to thank Meadow View Health Services and Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center along with multiple other doctors, nurses and supporting staff that cared for Warren over the years.
