Warren R. Visser, 88, of Kohler died Sunday at home after a brief illness, surrounded by family.
He was born in Hingham, WI the 4th son of the late Silas and Pearl Visser.
In 1951 he was drafted by the Army and served in the infantry reconnaissance as a Field Wireman in the Korean War. He joined Kohler Co. in 1955 where he worked for 38 years until his retirement. He was married to Sandra Klinzing and they were members of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife Sandra; beloved daughter Rochelle (Robert) Kuhn of Sheboygan; grandchildren Kristi Krueger (Jeremy) of Malone and their children Jacob, Andrew, Ethan and Amelia, Ryan (Colleen) Kuhn of Baltimore and their children Maddie and Evie, and Kyle (Cortney) Kuhn of Sheboygan and their children Trevor and Isaac; his brother Eugene Visser; brother-in-law Roman (Geri) Klinzing and many nieces and nephews. He was also honored to care for foster daughters Patty Wunder and Cindy (David) Karasek, and be a volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters to Dale.
Warren was preceded in death by his brothers Walter, George (Leola) and Robert (Bonita); Eugene’s wife Yvonne Visser and nephews Kevin and Gary Visser.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 Green Tree Rd., Kohler, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Stars and Stripes Honor Flight or a charitable organization of your choice.
