William Allen Rohde, born February 7, 1933, and passed away on Friday, December 22nd, 2023, at the age of 90. He was born in the Town of Sheboygan to William and Hertha (Damrow) Rohde. He attended Lincoln Erdman Grade School and graduated from Howards Grove Class of 1952.
On October 23, 1954, he was united in marriage to Beverly Beeck. They celebrated 69 years of marriage this past fall. Together they had three children, Pam, Scott, and Amy.
He was employed at Kohler Co. for over 40 years, which he took great pride in and made many lifelong friendships. He also did masonry work on the side for a lifetime.
His favorite hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, playing dartball, and bowling. He hadn’t missed the opening day of deer hunting in 73 years until Covid broke his string. Allen and Beverly also enjoyed dancing, cracking hickory nuts in the long winter months, and he loved attending high school basketball games. He never missed a game or concert for his kids.
He was active in the Howards Grove Lions Club where he had perfect attendance for 41 years. He served as President several times and he was presented the Melvin Jones Fellow Award and the Birch-Sturm Fellowship Award. He was very proud of his involvement with his fellow Lions in the building of two shelter houses in Howards Grove and representing the club driving the six-man bicycle in many parades.
He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church. He was President of St. Lucas Cemetery for many years, where he will be laid to rest. Allen was also a past president for the Eastern Wisconsin Lutheran Dartball League and was one of the founding members of the St. Luke Colts.
Many family vacations were spent camping across the country and going to Canada fishing. After retirement he and Beverly enjoyed traveling in their motorhome to all corners of the country and spending time at their cabin up north. They also went to Branson, MO for many years with friends.
He is survived by his wife Beverly; daughters Pamela (Dan) Bogenschuetz, Amy (Dan) Buehler; son Scott (Sharyn) Rohde; sister-in-law Vivian Kachur; brother-in-law Romy (Rose) Beeck and many more nieces and nephews. His grandchildren include Jason (Tegan) Westrick, Brad (Jessica) Westrick, Brian (Kyle) Westrick, Jordan (Hailey) Westrick, Tony (Sheri) Rohde, Allie (Luke) Rohde, Isaac Rohde, Brianna (Andrew) Schroeder, Mackenzie (Alex) Fandre; great-grandchildren Benjamin Rohde, Emilee, Everett, and Jude Westrick, Laine and Ollie Engelman, Jameson Schroeder, William Westrick, and two more arriving in spring.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister Wilma (Al) Dimmer, Bernice (Alton) Klein, Lorraine (Roland) Brendel; father-in-law Arthur Beeck and mother-in-law Elenora (Beeck) Kasten; brother and sister-in-law Edward and Shirley Beeck; Art Kachur and many more nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, N6193 State Highway 32, Sheboygan Falls, with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at church. Burial will follow at St. Lucas Cemetery.
Memorials can be directed to St. Luke Lutheran Church, St. Lucas Cemetery or the Howards Grove Lions Club for the Wisconsin Lions Camp in Rosholt, WI.

So sorry to have read of William’s death. He touched so many lives and will be thought of often and never forgotten. May all your many wonderful memories be of great comfort. In the midst of the most painful grief look forward to the future when “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4. May the God of all comfort Jehovah give strength and his love to each of you.
