William F. Goetsch

William Goetsch was born on September 21, 1934 and passed away on April 22, 2023 at the age of 88. He attended local schools including Sheboygan Central High School. William then joined the United States Navy Reserve in 1951. He was united in marriage with Audrey J. Thill on January 23, 1954. During his working years, he was employed at Jung Shoe Company for over 30 years and retired from Allen Edmonds Shoe Company. Bill was a long time member of the Koenig Conservation Club. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, trap shooting, water skiing, snowmobiling, spending time up north and more than anything he enjoyed spending time with his family and going to his great-grandsons football games.
Bill is survived by his children, William (Bonnie) Goetsch, Christine Reschke, Timothy (Sarah) Goetsch and Peggy (Mike) Ruehr; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey; parents, Frank and Lucille; brothers, Richard and Glenn and sisters-in-law, Carol and Adline.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Memorials to the Koenig Conservation Club in Bill’s name are appreciated.

I knew Billy since grade school. Good old pigeon River. Of course I also knew Audrey, as we were all in school together. I hadn't seen them for many years, but thought of them often. My sympathy to your family.
